Nerdery At Its Finest

Happy Monday: Rock Band DLC Preview

It’s Monday, and you know what that means- time to see what’s coming out for Rock Band tomorrow.  Oh, guess what?  It’s Megadeth.

Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying? is being released for eleven jucks (880 MSP), or two duckets a pop (160 MSP), and will include the following:
  • Wake Up Dead
  • The Conjuring
  • Devil’s Island
  • Good Mourning/Black Friday
  • Bad Omen
  • I Ain’t Superstitious
  • My Last Words

Apparently, you Rock Band 1 noobs can’t get the title track, because- guess what!- it’s on RB2 already.  Sorry PS3ers!

I don’t particularly listen to Megadeth, but their music is phenomenal on the few GH and Rock Band tracks I have played.  Prepare to have your hands fall off, arms melt, and right foot turn to butter.  Let’s hope they don’t shit the bed here like they did with Moving Pictures…
Moving right along, we have a pile of dog shit known as The Rock Band Tour 4-Pack.  It’s a conglomeration of crappy artists playing even crappier songs, and- guess what!- they are all being featured on the live Rock Band Tour that you can see at a city near you in October!  Kill me.
  • “One of Those Nights” by The Cab
  • “Hands Down” by Dashboard Confessional
  • “She’s a Handsome Woman” by Panic! at the Disco
  • “Natural Disaster” by Plain White T’s

Jsizz told me last night that Panic! at the Disco was originally formed to be a Fallout Boy cover band.  If that’s your aspiration in life, you are setting your goals way short- we don’t need ANOTHER Pete Wentz running around in the world.  These tunes are about one bone-diddly each (80 MSP), or four for four (320 MSP), though, if you are going to piss away your money like this, you might be better off going to the hardware store, buying the coarsest sandpaper you can find, fashioning it into a glove, and masturbating the day away.
